Rail service update – Storm Goretti

Storm Goretti is expected to impact rail services over the next few days, particularly in the South West. The Met Office has issued multiple weather warnings, with strong winds and snowfall forecast, creating a multi-hazard event that may disrupt travel and infrastructure.

Due to an amber warning for strong winds, services will be suspended from 6pm today on the following routes:

  • Cornwall: All train services suspended from 6pm this evening until Friday morning.

Customers are strongly advised to travel earlier in the day and not to travel this evening. Replacement road transport will not operate due to hazardous conditions.

Disruption is expected to continue into Friday morning, with short-notice changes possible. While other routes are currently expected to operate as normal, customers should check before travelling.
