Dog Fouling Campaign

The Parish Council is pleased to announce the launch of a new Dog Fouling Campaign across the village.

As part of the initiative, we will be installing six new dog waste bag dispensers in key locations around the village. If you’re out walking your dog and happen to forget your poo bags, help will now be close at hand!

We are currently looking for residents who would be happy to host a dispenser on the boundary of their property. The Parish Council will install the dispenser and supply the bags.

We will also be putting up Keep Britain Tidy “We Are Watching You” signs, which have proven highly effective in other areas, reducing dog fouling by up to 46% during trial schemes.

To help us target the worst affected areas, we would like residents to let us know where the main dog fouling hotspots are within the village.

We hope these initiatives will encourage all dog owners to help keep our village clean and pleasant for everyone.
