Grit bins are located throughout the village and wider parish for public use. 

Please remember the best way to use grit/salt is to spread it thinly over ice or thin compacted snow (it does little to help in thick snow). A little goes a long way and an even thin spread works far better than a think layer or clumps. 

Please note these bins are provided for public use, Parish Council staff are not permitted to spread grit due to health and safety regulations. However our Maintenance Team are regularly checking bins to ensure they are topped up.
